Bon voyage. It would be fascinating to learn how each volunteer's expectations now compare with their impressions after year one. I wish everyone Godspeed, good health, and good cheer.
Glad to hear that everything is coming along Todd. How long does this staging period last? And what exactly are you learning? Have you started language training yet, or does that come later?
Wish you could be here riding motorbikes around with me, buddy. But you're exactly where you're supposed to be. Work hard, Todd.
I didn't get your message about Cowan til today... I guess you've probably met him by now. Yeah, hopefully you guys can play some rugby! I hope you have access to internet while you're in Banjul. Have a great time; I can't wait to hear more about what it's like over there!
Todd, I thought of you on July 3 and, in checking your web page, realized that you were enroute to Philly. Blessings in this new adventure. God knows with the current administration in Washington, we'll need lots of good people like you in the Peace Corps in the days ahead. Warm regards, Doug
