Post birthday

So there isn't much point to this post, but here is the little guy now doing some wild things in this little country. Birthday went well a couple of days ago, with everyone singing a cheerful "happy birthday."

Friday we go to training village, that is when the real fun begins.

Todd,
Best wishes for pleasant and productive weeks of training. I gather from the blogs that we might not hear from you for quite a while. Just about everyone will be off the grid during home stay and training, correct? Well, we look forward one day down the road seeing some pix of your home-stay family and the village. Enjoy the adventure.
In case you want a back home image, here is one of my favorites from Jenny's wedding:

Todd! Hope your birthday was teh-awesomesauce, and I look forward to more pics coming soon! (I've kind of fallen off teh interwebs recently, sorry for the lack of communication) You see, teh gr4nd 3v1l of W0W has suxorzed me within itself...

I haven't done a wiutech since you left, actually - it's kind of difficult for me to get up the enthusiasm to go do it solo, and a suitable co-host is no-where in sight. I'll try and pick it up again this week, and post up the file -hopefully podcast style- for you.

'til then - peace homie

Let me know when this "real fun" begins. So far the days are far and few between where something or someone doesn't make me or Jannson think about our old roommate. I hope you're doing what you love, Todderick.

I found you site whil elooking up Gambia sites. I just got back from my second trip to The Gambia and hanging out with some PC friends in the Bansangarea. It is an amazing place and the people are so friendly. It's definitely not the plush life but the experience is worth it. Good luck with the language toubab.
